Now I have completed my storyboard animatic, I can now start to consider and plan the production process. Below is a list of the research I need to conduct, and the preferable order I will complete them in:
- Casting
- Location Planning
- Costume Planning
- Props Planning
- Lighting Planning
- Shot List
- Filming Schedule
For example, for the casting planning, I will take photos of potential actors I might choose and expelling why there are suitable or not for the role. In addition, I could also screen test them, and have them lip sync along to the track to see how confident they are in front of the camera.
I will have to put the same amount of thought and detail into the other 6 modes of research. However, whatever choices I make, I will have to justify them with how they will suit and appeal to my target audience.
